Anako Ethnographic Film Festival
LOUDUN From Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 June 2026 20:00We look forward to seeing you all at the 12th Anako Ethnographic Film Festival.
The Fondation Anako and its volunteers invite you to a number of exciting meetings and exhibitions, focusing on dialogue between cultures, international solidarity and encounters with the last True Humans, as they call themselves, who are sometimes also referred to as Root Peoples, Aboriginal Peoples or First Peoples.
PETIT PEUPLE – Loudun 25 June
The Baka, the Bakola-Bagyéli or the Aka are part of this great people of the African forests commonly referred to as “Pygmies”. The film, partly shot by the Aka from the village of Kambolé in Congo Brazzaville, tells us about the quatidien, traditions, spirituality but also the challenges and difficult compromises faced by communities in the last great forests of Congo and Cameroon.
