European Heritage Days – Château de Monts-sur-Guesnes

To mark the 43rd European Heritage Days, whose themes are ‘Photographic Heritage’ and ‘Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine’, the Petite Cité de Caractère Monts-sur-Guesnes is presenting a photography exhibition entitled “Monts in the Spotlight: When Night Brings the Walls to Life”.
A ‘night-time’ stroll in broad daylight to discover or rediscover Mons’ heritage, illuminated using the technique of light painting (a photographic technique based on capturing light).
Free – open to everyone
Sessions with the photographers will be organised.
The Château de Monts sur Guesnes, one of the village’s most significant heritage sites, will also be displaying photographs from the exhibition in its rooms.
