Exhibition ‘Si… Colour and Light’ by Christine Morin and François Chauvin

Christine Morin explains: ‘Painting is a simple, direct and revealing tool, but also a kind of void, a silence and a twilight. Looking at the surface, following ideas, waiting, listening, being attentive. Trying to find that intimate point of balance and accuracy… The exploration I pursue in painting and installations can be likened to contemplation. Contemplation, respect and curiosity – that is what I try to share.”
François Chauvin describes himself as follows: ‘I am my own movement, curious about instinct, about life, and curious about the way it drives us to rise above ourselves. A radical rebel, in pursuit of beauty and the sacred, I enjoy offering an offbeat perspective through techniques that I reinvent.’

Opening on Thursday 8th at 6.30 pm, followed by a concert by percussionist Toma Gouband
