PL’Secrets : La Grimaudière in the spotlight

The church of Notre-Dame-d’Or will be the focus of an exceptional visit devoted to its architecture, its remarkable paintings and the restoration work that has gone into bringing them to life. The tour will be led by Stéphanie Cadars (DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine) with Thomas Vieweger and Aude Vieweger de Cordoüe (Atelier Anaglyphe), restorers of the mural paintings, the real jewels of this listed monument.
The tour will continue through the heritage site of La Grimaudière: from the church of Saint Cybard, listed as a historic monument, through the listed site of the marvellous source of the Dive Mirebalaise to the remarkable walnut tree by the town hall. This section will be led by Vincent Aguillon, heritage coordinator, and Alain de Nayer (site inspector, DREAL Nouvelle-Aquitaine).
