Fontevraud Valley, 1101: a motley crowd is advancing… Three hundred souls – men, women and children, rich and poor, old and young, sick and healthy – are gathering at the crossroads of Poitou, Anjou and Touraine.
Everyone united behind the determination of one man: Robert d’Arbrissel.
A married priest, a hermit, an itinerant preacher…
He is always walking towards his destiny.
Nothing will stop this God-fearing man in his quest to create an Ideal City, the walls of which still stand today.
