Visit to the Donjon of Moncontour
MONCONTOUR From Sunday 5 July to Tuesday 25 August 2026 11:30A famous site of the battle between the Protestants and the Catholics of the royal army in 1569. This 11th-century keep, built by Foulques Nerra, served as an outpost for Mirebeau and to protect the citadel of Loudun.
The view from 25 metres up is breathtaking!
The tour is limited to 10 people.
