The Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers is a singular, mysterious and romantic work of art. Throughout its history, it has experienced sumptuous glory, neglect, bold reconstruction, dramatic fire and astonishing survival.
In 2017, the crazy project of allowing as many people as possible to contribute to its rescue was launched by the Dartagnans company and the “Adopt a Castle” network. Today, it belongs to more than 50,000 people involved in a major project to save and animate it.
