Situated between Poitou, Anjou and Touraine, Trois-Moutiers has the discreet charm that makes the Pays Loudunais so special. Here, there’s no need for gimmicks: nature, heritage and conviviality are the order of the day.

It often starts with a stroll. The paths wind between fields, forests and rivers, perfect for walking, cycling or simply taking a breather. The Ligne Verte runs close by: a great way to discover the area by bike, without hurrying.

The village and surrounding area are also full of little nuggets. Castles that tell the story of the past, paths that lead to unsuspected viewpoints or surprising megaliths and, always, the peace and quiet that you rarely find elsewhere. When it’s time for a break, we sit down in one of our cellars to taste a Saumurois wine or a local product bought at the market.

In the evening, the atmosphere changes. Night markets, summer festivities and impromptu get-togethers give this corner of the Loudunais region a gentle, joyful energy. People are chatting, laughing and enjoying themselves.
