All about our stay at Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims

Last weekend, we were looking for a break from the daily grind, a place to relax and have fun. So with Romain and our two whirlwinds, Élise and Naël, we headed for the Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims, in the heart of the Loudunais region.

From the moment we stepped under the trees, we could feel that special atmosphere, soothing yet full of energy. Here, everything seems to be designed to make families slow down… but never for too long, because adventure is never far away.

Dive into AquaMondo

Needless to say, the first place the children wanted to go was theAquaMondo. The entrance alone, with its tropical air, set off cries of joy. Naël took to the slides with unbridled enthusiasm, going down one after another as if he were preparing for a competition. Meanwhile, Élise settled into the play lagoon, testing each water jet as if she were discovering a new secret. The rest of us enjoyed the hot tubs and the warm, humid atmosphere that made us forget the outside world. Afterwards, we all found ourselves in the wild river, where we emerged with our abs so overheated we’d been laughing so hard.

Tree climbing adventure at Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims

After a good paddle, we needed to get some height. We headed for theaccrobranche, where I surprised everyone by leading the way on the suspension bridges. Romain tried to keep up, not always reassured, but the children were afraid of nothing.

To vary the pleasures, we then opted to hire bikes, perfect for exploring the wooded paths of the estate. The fresh air, the quiet little roads and the laughter of the children as they tried to race each other… it all gave this ride a much-appreciated taste of freedom.

Impossible to get bored during our stay at Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims

What really blew us away was the sheer number of things to do on site. Between two walks, we discovered the area dedicated to leisure activities. Naël went straight for the laser battle, convinced he was a superhero. Romain and I tried our hand at bowling, while Élise was already dreaming of trying her hand at archery. We also hesitated for a long time about trying paintball as a family, before the children decided that it would be “for later”. And beyond the fun, we found ourselves imagining how this place could host a seminar: the rooms are modern, bright and surrounded by nature, a real plus for working differently (yes, we also thought a bit about work…).

An unforgettable encounter with animals

This family holiday was more intense than expected, but if there’s one thing we’ll never forget, it’s our encounter with the fallow deer. Walking along the paths, we saw them appear, calm, graceful and curious. The children remained silent (a feat in itself). They were simply amazed. Even though the fallow deer are the stars here, we made a point of visiting other companions. So we went to see the aviary, where the birds soar above us in an explosion of colour.

Theseanimal-watching moments reminded us just how beautiful nature is when you take the time to look at it.

A relaxing break at the Deep Nature spa

To round off our stay, we treated ourselves to a moment just for us at the Deep Nature spa. Massages, gentle heat, a relaxing atmosphere… a real treat for letting off steam. Afterwards, we joined the children for a final play session and enjoyed the outdoor sensory trail together, a fun experience that awakens the senses: walking barefoot, touching, feeling… a return to basics that did the whole family a world of good.

As we left Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims, we looked at each other with a smile that said it all: we’d just experienced a real break, filled with nature, laughter and wonder. The perfect place to create memories without ever having to think about it.
