For a day of 100% fun, head for Moncontour to the aptly named Moncontour Active Park. In this complex designed to satisfy your every desire, you’ll find :

  • A leisure centre with a large swimming area
  • A waterslide
  • A play area
  • A supervised beach (July-August)

And if you fancy a quiet session in the water, canoes and paddles are available for hire. Prefer to stay dry? The mainland awaits you with its mini-golf course, table tennis tables and football and volleyball pitches.

With all these activities, you’re likely to be a little peckish. Once again, Moncontour Active Park has got you covered. A shaded picnic area and a restaurant provide a simple, friendly place to relax.

If you fancy a day out, make a note in your diary that the park is open from April to September, with chargeable access only in July and August (supervised swimming during this period).

Guaranteed freshness at the Lac du gué du Magne

For water sports fans, head for the Gué du Magne lake in Saint-Jean-de-Sauves. We’ll get you up on your feet… on the water! Its waterski lift will introduce you to wakeboarding, kneeboarding and water skiing, or help you perfect your skills. It’s the ultimate thrill, and can be enjoyed from the age of 8.
