Discover the emblematic sites of southern Loudun on an original tour led by a sculptor and a dowser.
A stonemason and sculptor from Verrue, Damien Fanchon will be sharing his craft and the close links between stone, traditional skills and local architecture. Drawing on his own experience, he will talk about the use of stone and its importance to landscape identity.
The tour will continue with Guillaume Billon, a dowser, who will invite participants to better understand how water circulates beneath our feet, how it shapes the landscape and why certain places, such as springs and Romanesque churches, occupy a special place in the region.
